The FIRST reaction someone might assume when seeing the book or reading the title is that this is just another book about a health care plan with a “twist”. Such is not the case.
The SECOND reaction might be to either love the author or be mad at the author. Some who might react negatively to the information in this book might be politicians, health insurance sales people, drug company representatives, over prescribing doctors, or people who take too many drugs, do not exercise enough, do not eat properly, and who expect other taxpayers to pay for their medical services.
Then there is the THIRD reaction when you learn who caused this mess. You will fume when you learn that politicians who profess to care about your health, really do not give a “flip” about your health, they want your vote. It is at this point, upon learning the truth that everyone can begin to take charge of their lives. You see, for almost fifty years we have not been told the truth about health care by our elected representatives, but I have faith that the majority of us have the courage and resolve to do what is right and necessary to “fix health care”. Collectively we begin by voting any politician out of office who gives a hint of claiming they have the answers to health care. We also begin to take better care of our own health and begin shopping the market for affordable health services and insurance. We can learn a lot from history and this book may well be a valuable learning tool for millions of people.
